Artificial turf is widely favored in the field of football fields around the world, from campus playgrounds to football matches and Olympic football fields, where it has been widely used for field paving construction.

Football field turf is different from general leisure turf, it has the following advantages and requirements:

1. The softness of grass fibers is good, so that players will not easily get injured while crawling, rolling, and running on the grass;

2. Grass fibers have good resilience, so as not to affect the normal trajectory of football rolling;

3. Grass silk has strong recovery ability, so it can still recover to its original state even under high-intensity trampling.

4. The height of grass fibers should reach 5cm, while typical leisure lawns commonly use a grass fiber height of 2-3cm.

5. Football field lawns need to be filled with quartz sand and elastic plastic particles, which are not available in general leisure lawns.

Construction requirements for artificial turf in football fields:

1. Check whether the basic density and flatness of the entire lawn site meet the requirements. Once the requirements are met, the artificial lawn can be laid.

2. Measure and lay out the entire site, mark the location, and determine the direction and position of the artificial turf laying.

3. Start laying artificial turf: Lay splicing strips on the surface of the lawn joints, fix them with steel nails, and ensure that the nail heads do not protrude. The joint area needs to overlap by more than 10 centimeters.

4. Apply glue on the bonding interface, and before the glue solidifies, lay out and bond the cut lawn well, so that each piece of artificial lawn is tightly bonded.

After the laying is completed, carefully check whether the bonding of each joint area is smooth and whether the bonding of the artificial turf is firm. Only after checking that all items meet the requirements can the next construction process be carried out.

6. Cut off the green artificial grass where white lines need to be embedded, embed seam tape, apply glue on top, and then embed the cut white artificial grass field line into the marked field line before paving, and bond it with the splicing tape.

7. Sprinkle quartz sand or plastic particles as needed on site. If it is necessary to sprinkle quartz sand, pour quartz sand or black rubber particles into the granulator, push the granulator to fill the surface of the artificial lawn with quartz sand or black rubber particles, and use the brush behind the granulator to smooth out the quartz sand or black rubber particles, so that they can fully fall down.
